On Friday, February 10th CASA will be hosting a Valentines dinner, dance and auction at the Fox Pavilion. It will be a wonderful evening to share with someone special while enjoying dining and dancing with friends. This will be our 2nd year for this event and we are very excited to be your hosts.

CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates. Judges appoint CASA volunteers to represent the best interests of children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. The CASA volunteers make sure that the child does not get lost in the legal and social service system, or languish in a foster home. The same volunteer stays on the case until the child is placed in a safe permanent home. The local CASA organization serves Ellis, Rooks, Trego and Gove Counties.
During the event, A Valentines Evening to Benefit "A Child in Need" there will be an opportunity to bid on items donated by our local business and Friends of CASA. This fundraising event will directly benefit the recruitment and training of volunteers to represent the best interests of abused and neglected children in our area.
If you plan to donate an item or if you would like to attend please contact the CASA office at 628-8641. Tickets for this year's event will be $25 per person. Get a group of friends together and reserve a table of 8. Space is limited so please reserve you spots early. We will again have some wonderful prizes for a few lucky couples.
